Jessica Snyder

Hi! I am Jessica Snyder and I currently work at ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit as a marketing/communication specialist. I worked for two years as the Business Manager of The Voice Newspaper at Glendale Community College. I spent a year at The Voice as Editor-in-Chief and decided it would be fun to see how the other side of the newspaper worked. I write op-ed articles as well as campus related stories. I have covered one investigative story and plan to spend more time in that particular area of reporting. I graduated with my A.A.S in public relation December 2015, as well as a certificate in journalism from Glendale Community College. I also obtained a certificate in storytelling from the ACP conference in 2016. I love journalism and it is a huge part of my life, but PR has a hold on my heart as well. I hope to work for a non profit  someday and my dream job would be with Make-A-Wish foundation. I have worked with two companies as an intern in the PR department and have obtained valuable skills to join the work force going forward.
